Plastic centrifugal pumps

Characteristics of the horizontal solution plastic centrifugal pumps.

The main characteristics of these pumps allow them to operate with almost any type of acids normally used in the chemical industry. There are several possible constructions and they are personalised ad hoc based on the needs of the individual customer and the application conditions.

Some of the models the company produces are listed here

  • Plastic pumps
  • Plastic centrifugal pumps for acids
  • Corrosive pumps

ZP - ZN Series process pumps

CONSTRUCTION
The ZP process series has a horizontal axis centrifugal pump with support, with two grease-lubricated bearings. Coupling to the electric motor is by means of an elastic fitting.
The compact “ZN” lantern bracket version with rigid fitting has the unified IEC or NEMA electric motor.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
Polypropylene, PVDF and Moplen coated fibreglass for the hydraulics, impeller also in Ryton®, shaft in AISI 316L with bushing in PTFE or Hastelloy-C.
Single or double external mechanical seal in Ceramic and PTFE or in Silicon carbide/Silicon carbide.
No metallic material is in contact with the pumped liquid.

APPLICATIONS
Diluted acid and base liquids, hydroxides, salts in various concentrations and temperatures, brine, seawater and thermal water, alcohol, inhibitors, fertilizers, electroplating baths and any highly aggressive fluid, even dirty and with suspensions.

USES
